It’s a bit of a challenge to decide what classes I should schedule. I invite you to express your opinion in the comments.
My established classes are:
- Testers and Automation (3 days)
- Rapid Software Testing Explored (4 days)
- Rapid Software Testing Applied (3 days)
- Rapid Software Testing Managed (4 days)
- Rapid Software Testing Coached (2 days)
- Rapid Software Testing Focused: Risk (1 day)
- Rapid Software Testing Focused: Strategy (1 day)
I am open to doing other events. Right now I am most focused on continuing to develop and refine my latest class, Testers and Automation. As part of that I’m developing tools that support augmented experiential testing.
There are already scheduled classes for the next few months, all just from the first three on that list, because that’s where I perceive the demand to be.
Classes are usually scheduled for either European or American time zones. Once in a while I try an Australian edition, but there’s not a lot of demand from the Pacific Rim, so far.
Sometimes I will schedule a public class for a private client who can’t afford to pay for a fully private class. So, contact me if you might want that for your company.
Subject: Request for a Beginner-Friendly Software Testing Class
I wanted to reach out and express a request that I believe would benefit many recent graduates like myself. As someone who is just starting in the world of software testing, I find it challenging to grasp certain concepts and methodologies in a practical and systematic way. There is a lot of information available, but a structured learning path guided by an expert would be incredibly valuable.
Would you consider offering an absolute beginner-focused online class specifically designed for recent graduates who want to pursue a professional career in software testing? I believe that a course structured with your practical insights and experience would provide immense value to newcomers looking to enter the field with confidence and real-world skills.
I appreciate your time and consideration, and I look forward to any thoughts you may have on this idea.
[James’ Reply: I could offer such a class. If I get 10 people willing to sign up for it, I will do it. Meanwhile, you could just take my Rapid Software Testing Applied class, which is useful regardless of your experience level.]
Hi James,
I was hoping to register for the Managed class. I realize this might not be in high demand but thought I would drop my preference here. I am based out of Canada.
Thanks,
Andrew
