Pairwise Testing: A Best Practice That Isn't

Combinatorial testing is one of my favorite things. And pairwise (aka all-pairs) test coverage is a popular combinatorial technique. But, just as with all other techniques, the hype around pairwise testing is unhelpful and must be debunked by anyone who is serious about testing craftsmanship. In this article, Pat Schroeder and I put pairwise testing in proper perspective.
