“Is there such a thing as a ‘negative test case’ for UI testing? (i.e. No functionality testing should be performed. It should be related to look and feel.)”

 

Next, the questioner is making a false distinction, because look and feel testing does not mean that we don’t exercise functionality, too. In fact, it’s rather difficult to see we can access the UI without operating the product, functionally. So, let’s replace that distinction with a qualifying phrase…

“Is there such a thing as a ‘negative test case’ in UI testing when we are evaluating look and feel?”
