CAST Conference Coming Up!

The CAST testing conference is happening in Colorado Springs, July 13-16. I mention this for two reasons:

1. I will be teaching a testing tutorial there. I also will be wandering around with my various testing games and challenges hoping to do them with anyone who wants to see what I mean by “testing skills.”

2. CAST is the only conference that is organized in the true spirit of the Context-Driven School of Testing. It’s kind of our home conference. If you find my thoughts interesting, or those of Cem Kaner, Michael Bolton, Ben Simo, etc. Then you’ll want to be there, if you can.

    Mr Bach,

I write from Argentine and I’m very interesting for your ” testing tutorial ” and by this conference because I work as test lead in Atos Origin Company.

I frequently post news in my blog (http://www.testingsoftware.com.ar).

From now on I will be one of its readers and if I may go up in my blog some of your news.

    best regards
    Gustavo Terrera

Having attended last year’s CAST conference, I can say - this is one conference you can’t afford to miss it. I felt blessed when I attended it last year and a sinner for being unable to make it this year.

If you happen to attend this year, I shall meet you next year, since I hope you wouldn’t want to feel a sinner like me.

Cast conference: Value for money, value for time, value for value.

I would love to have attended, but living in NZ makes it a little difficult, and lot expensive. The most frustrating thing is that all testing conferences here are run by ISTQB, and are exorbitantly expensive. It only works out to be a little cheaper to attend the Wellington conference a few blocks away, than it would be to fly to Colorado and attend the AST conference. But a little cheaper is still cheaper when asking the boss to foot the bill ;) So thrilled to learn that you’ll be attending the conference this year in Wellington. Look forward to hearing you speak.

[James' Reply: Oh good. I'll see you there.]
